This course provides basic first aid awareness training and accident prevention to adults over the age of 50. Areas of focus include providing care for partners and dealing with incidents involving younger members of the family. There is also a small section on pet first aid.

After this course, the learner will have a greater understanding of the possible injuries and illnesses that could affect all age groups. The learner will understand why immediate professional care is vital to ensure that pain and suffering are reduced as much as possible and will have more confidence to deal with an emergency situation, should it arise.

    What People are Saying

“I have previously worked for the NHS and completed inhouse training on an annual basis. I found the ProTraining Over 50 First Aid Course to be equally as good, if not better, as i had no distractions from colleagues and was able to concentrate much better, thus absorbing and retaining more information. Thank you.”

    - Carole, Adult Caregiver from Lancashire

“It took me ages to do this course because I thought it would be very hard and tiresome but once I did start I found it great, very easy, well instructed and recommend it 100%”

    - Norma from West Midlands
